Everything was GREAT and within 26 minutes' drive of Koggala airport. The staff and the owner were all great. We had the standard queen room which was huge and immaculately clean with fridge.

The guesthouse was small and cozy, making us feel right at home. The owners were incredibly friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Our room was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. We especially appreciated the large bed, table, mirror, wardrobe, and the pristine white bathroom. Every morning, the owner prepared a delicious breakfast with national pancakes in the guesthouse café. We loved spending our evenings on the terrace, enjoying the beautiful view of the garden. our experience at Mermaid Inn was like being part of a warm and welcoming family.

It has a great location near the beach and offers clean and comfortable rooms. the owners are very kind and helpful, and they even helped us book whale watching at a reasonable rate. the upstairs balcony is a great place to chill out and have a drink, and the hotel is secure with off-road parking for scooters. it provided everything we needed for a relaxed and enjoyable stay.

During our stay in Mirissa, we had a wonderful Christmas experience at a cozy guesthouse. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and nestled in a peaceful neighborhood. the room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. the highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast served in the beautiful garden, where we enjoyed a variety of freshly prepared dishes every morning. It was a delightful way to start our day.

There were a few minor drawbacks. the language barrier posed a challenge as the owners had limited proficiency in English, making communication a bit tricky at times.

The Mermaid Inn is located in a calm area, just a short walk from the famous Rotti shop along the road. It is also conveniently close to the beach, giving you the option of either walking or taking a quick tuk tuk ride to the shoreline. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with hot showers available. The friendly staff provides excellent service, offering helpful tips and even arranging scooter hire. The breakfast served at the inn is fantastic, and the upstairs balcony area is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink.

The only downside is that the wifi signal in the room may be slightly weak, but it is perfectly fine in the outside areas.

I had the best stay of my Sri Lanka trip! The rooms were incredibly clean and nice, with old but comfortable furniture. The mosquito net was solid and spacious. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the beach and main road, yet very quiet. I loved everything about my stay here!

We stumbled upon this hidden gem by accident and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and sparkling clean house. The location in a calm neighborhood was perfect, just a short walk away from Mirissa beach. The value for money was outstanding, as we paid the same rate as everywhere else we stayed in Sri Lanka. The family who owns the guesthouse went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, arranging a special dinner for us during the Singhalese New Year and offering a good deal on transportation. The only minor issues we had were with communication due to language barriers and the lack of Wi-Fi during low season, but these were easily outweighed by the overall experience. The plan for a small restaurant in the future shows the family's commitment to continuously improving. We highly recommend this place for a comfortable and friendly stay. we would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.
